What was the inspiration behind the dress?
Karisa Perrone, the designer, was inspired by the modern and romantic bohemian bride. “I wanted to take a vintage inspired lace, and transform it into something that felt fresh and new. The chiffon off-the-shoulder detail added the sultry twist that makes this dress feel so exciting.”
What are the favorite elements about the dress?
“My favorite thing about this dress is the romantic off-the-shoulder detail. I love that its feminine and flirty but when combined with cotton like lace, it feels modern and fresh,” Karisa said.
What does the designer keep in mind when designing a dress for bridal collections?
When designing for this line, Karisa always thinks of the free-spirited bride. “I want her to be comfortable (most of these dresses are lightweight and lined in stretch lining) and most importantly, feel like herself. I want her personal style to come through with her wedding dress.”
