About our Christina Wu Destination collection.
Evolved to include the ever-changing styles of today’s trends, these dresses show individualism of the free-spirited and artsy bride. With beautiful laces, soft flowing chiffon skirts and romantic sleeves, it’s an effortless choice for the bride.
Why we chose Christina Wu Destination Style 22081.
It is made for the free-spirited bride. You can make a statement in this fit and flare gown adorned with sheer lace flared bell sleeves and deep side cut outs angled toward the waist. It has a curved V-neckline and a low open back held by a tie to support the sides. Completing the look are covered buttons and a lace train.
What was the inspiration behind the dress?
The designer, Karisa Perrone, was inspired by a combination of things. “I was really feeling the free-spirited vibes of the 60s, but wanted to capture a modern trend of mixing lace with a solid fabric as well as body contouring detailing.”
What are the favorite elements about the dress?
Karisa’s favorite details on the dress are the whimsical bell sleeves and the way the lace placement contours the body. It was designed like this to help the bride feel sexy and confident on her big day.
What does the designer keep in mind when designing a dress for bridal collections?
When designing for this line, Karisa always thinks of the free-spirited bride. “I want her to be comfortable (most of these dresses are lightweight and lined in stretch lining) and most importantly, feel like herself. I want her personal style to come through with her wedding dress.”
